March 15, 2010 - Alarm Central, Inc. of Irvine CA purchased the Assets of Omni Security Systems, Inc. of Lake Forest, CA. Omni Security Systems specializes in the installation of residential and commercial burglar/fire alarm systems and CCTV systems.

April 1, 2008 – Alarm Central purchased the assets of Positive Protection & Communication Systems, Inc. located in Irvine. Positive Protection specializes in high end installations for Custom Homes.
February 1, 2004 – Alarm Central purchased the stock of Builders Electronics, Inc. located in Irvine. Builders Electronics is the largest Dealer of NuTone & M&S Products in Orange County. They are also the only NuTone Warranty & Service Center for Orange County. Builders Electronics specializes in the service and installation of Central Vacuum Systems, Intercom and Alarm Systems for new construction and retrofits for existing homes.
December 2000 – Alarm Central purchased the monitored alarm accounts from Saddleback Security located in Lake Forest, CA.
